My acceptance speech >>> "Oh, I am so happy that I have this certificate!  Now I can continue doing all that I've been doing and be certified to do so!  I had a feeling that, over time, I would become so skilled and recognized for my "field", that I might be recognized somehow and be awarded some sort of certificate.  I am so honored and thrilled to receive this certificate that I must now make a frame out of construction paper for it and scotch tape it to the refrigerator door.  In celebration, I just might call up my friends to meet me at the playground.  Thank you again (this is where I shake your hand, bow, and blush) and I promise you that you giving me this certificate is something you will never regret because I intend to remain worthy of all that the Society of Childlike stands for."  (This is where I go skipping off the stage, waving at you and everyone in the audience.)

Donna you bring so much joy and happiness into our world.  It's so good to know that I'm not the only kid on here..... maybe that's why I've been such a bad Grouch? MAWOY & Edie

You know, as adults we learn to appreciate the wisdom we gain and the things most valuable in life...and, one of those valuable things is JOY!  Joy is childlike...giggling, bubbly, skipping, singing, bouncing, smiling, playfully childlike.  There are times in life when the burdens of adulthood can suffocate the inner child...but, as difficult as it can sometimes be, that is when I will dig in even harder for the more innocent regard to life.  That reminds me of what there is to be joyful about...the joy will return...and I can be an adult with the joys of a child again!
